Grand Canyon Track
A short, power-hike climb above Blackheath in New South Wales. The hardest 500 metres average 23.2% and start 455 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. South-facing, so it bakes in summer: go early. Most runners need 12 to 21 minutes. At 2.7 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. It is part of the Ultra-Trail Australia by UTMB - 100 M course.
