The hardest 500 metres average 28.3% and start 4.8 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. South-facing, so it is hot in summer and one of the first to clear of snow. At 37.0 TEP it is harder than almost every climb in the catalogue. It is graded alpine hiking, with exposed rock where you may need your hands.
