Bawaldstrasse is a power-hike climb above Filzbach in Glarus. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. Its steepest 500 metres run at 21.8% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. At 2.8 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Expect 16 to 27 minutes. Northeast-facing: morning sun, then shade for the rest of the day.
