Furkastrasse

Furkastrasse is a short, very steep climb above Filet in Valais. At 5.5 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. Its steepest 500 metres run at 25.8% and start 410 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Most runners need 13 to 22 minutes. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. South-facing, so it bakes in summer: go early.
