Chemin du Vintsié

A short, very steep climb above Bruson in Valais. The hardest 500 metres average 23.3% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 11 to 18 minutes. Its 3.8 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. It faces north: the shady side, where snow stays longest. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
