Chemin de Ponty

Chemin de Ponty is a short, power-hike climb above Leysin in Vaud. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. Its steepest 500 metres run at 27.8% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. At 4.0 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. Expect 15 to 25 minutes. South-facing, so it is hot in summer and one of the first to clear of snow.
