A power-hike climb above Granois in Valais. The hardest 500 metres average 19.2% and start 950 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early. Most runners need 17 to 29 minutes. At 3.1 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. The path is graded easy hiking: the effort is in your lungs, not your footing.
