Via Cima della Motta
This very steep climb rises above Frasco in Ticino. Expect 69 to 116 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 34.8% and start 2.3 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. Facing southwest, it takes the afternoon heat and melts out early in the year. At 47.0 TEP it is harder than almost every climb in the catalogue. Graded alpine hiking: exposed, rocky ground that needs sure feet and some use of the hands.
