The great white
This run-hike climb rises above Lenzerheide in Graubünden. Expect 19 to 31 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 19.8% and start 1.3 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley. The nearest named summit, Parpaner Rothorn at 2,861 m, is 800 m away. At 2.8 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
