Valserbärgweg

Valserbärgweg is a short, very steep climb above Vals in Graubünden. At 5.5 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. Its steepest 500 metres run at 23.5% and start 811 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Most runners need 17 to 30 minutes. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley.
