Horsetail Trail

A short, power-hike climb in Wyoming. The hardest 500 metres average 23.8% and start 441 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Facing southeast, it catches the morning sun and loses its snow earlier than most. Most runners need 9 to 16 minutes. Its 2.3 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue.
