Meilistrasse is a power-hike climb above Schmidighischere in Valais. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. Its steepest 500 metres run at 24.2% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. At 3.5 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Expect 19 to 32 minutes. Southwest-facing: it gets the afternoon heat and clears of snow early.
