Mount Yale Trail

This long, very steep climb rises in Colorado. Expect 67 to 113 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 32.7% and start 4.2 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. Facing southwest, it takes the afternoon heat and melts out early in the year. At 25.0 TEP it is harder than 96% of the climbs in the catalogue. Graded alpine hiking: exposed, rocky ground that needs sure feet and some use of the hands.
