North Fork Denny Creek
A power-hike climb in Colorado. The hardest 500 metres average 20.8% and start 671 m in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. North-facing, so it holds shade and snow longer than the sunny side of the valley. Most runners need 24 to 41 minutes. At 5.5 TEP it sits around the middle of the catalogue. It is graded alpine hiking, with exposed rock where you may need your hands.
