Calkens Hollow Trail
A run-hike climb in Utah. The hardest 500 metres average 13.4% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. Expect 25 to 43 minutes. Its 2.6 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Facing southwest, it takes the afternoon heat and melts out early in the year. Graded demanding mountain hiking, meaning footing matters more than fitness in places.
