Abri Bec de l Aigle is a short, power-hike climb above Courchevel Moriond in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care. Its steepest 500 metres run at 19.4% and come almost at once, before your legs have settled. At 2.0 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. Expect 10 to 16 minutes. South-facing, so it is hot in summer and one of the first to clear of snow.
