Chemin de Martouret

A long, mostly runnable climb above Saint-Antoine in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The hardest 500 metres average 15.8% and start 2.4 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. It faces south: warm in summer, and often clear of snow when the slopes around it are not. Most runners need 37 to 62 minutes. Its 2.4 TEP puts it in the easier half of the catalogue. Graded as a hiking trail, so fitness matters more than footing.
