Chemin de Puy Aillaud

A power-hike climb above Vallouise in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The hardest 500 metres average 24.5% and start 1.3 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Southeast-facing, so it takes the morning sun and clears of snow earlier in spring. Most runners need 27 to 45 minutes. At 7.5 TEP it is harder than 69% of the climbs in the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
