Tejas Trail
A long, mostly runnable climb in Texas. The hardest 500 metres average 16.2% and start 1.9 km in, in the middle of the climb, so pace the first part. Northeast-facing: morning sun only, and snow lingers into spring. Most runners need 39 to 65 minutes. At 2.4 TEP it sits in the easier half of the catalogue. On the SAC scale it is mountain hiking, with uneven ground that asks for some care.
