Tejas Trail

This long, run-hike climb rises in Texas. Expect 48 to 80 minutes. The hardest 500 metres average 16.6% and start 4.2 km in, so the worst of it lands when you are already committed. Facing southeast, it catches the morning sun and loses its snow earlier than most. With 4.6 TEP it lands near the middle of the catalogue. Graded mountain hiking: rougher ground where footing starts to matter.
